I totally had a divorce party. It was a party for my friends and I that kind of signified….a “starting over”, or moving on.

I have seriously never heard of a divorce party until today. But the first image that popped in my mind was something similar to the “hooray it’s over” party.

I may have heard the phrase “Divorce party” in one of the many relationship blogs I read. I think it is more a liberation, for a variety of reasons, that helps people move on. That’s not a bad thing

It’s very interesting.

I think I’d want a party – why not? A divorce is such a major milestone it seems like it would be a good way to move forward.
